The Deal Is!

Today June 19th marks the holiday that is most widely recognized for African Americans and their plight of slavery. The emancipation from slavery is what is being celebrated today, and has been celebrated since as far back as 1865. 

I was told by my daughter today that one of the very loved crossing guards and playground duties was retiring,  Mrs. Gladstone.  My daughter said that Mrs Gladstone had served Sunset for 15 years.
