The Deal Is!

There are some everyday phrases that are commonly said in my neck of the woods.  I can’t stand these phrases.  I wish they were outlawed, every time someone uttered one of these blurbs they would be fined. 

   Oxford University researchers have compiled a list of often used and most irritating phrases. Their database alerts them to new words and phrases and can tell them which expressions are disappearing. It also shows how words are being misused.
Many annoyingly over-used expressions actually began as office lingo, such as 24/7 and “synergy”.
