Ted Brown Music Tacoma
Do not rent from Ted Brown! I had an instrument in for repair and the staff at Ted Brown Music in Tacoma WA is so completely incompetent. They did not properly change my account information as I had requested so when my instrument was finished they did not call the correct number. After waiting for over a month for the call I called them. No apologies from them as if they had done nothing wrong or didn’t give a rat’s ass if they did! I called to cancel my 3 year rental with them and Gina did not blink and eye, said she’d be HAPPY to cancel it and did not even inquire as to what the issue was if there was one. Good thing Ted Brown Music has more than one location because if they depended upon the customer service of the Tacoma location they would have been out of business a long time ago. I have taken my business to Highland Hill Music Center where the staff is very kind and respectful and HAPPY to help you! They are also less expensive than Ted Brown and have a better theft insurance policy. They also sell higher quality instruments and you get more credit toward what you are renting to own as opposed to Ted Brown’s system. I would suggest going to Music Center before wasting any more money with Ted Brown or any of your precious time as they have no care for their customers. Big thumbs down to Ted Brown!

I was thinking about learning the violin I have always loved the sound of it to be honest. Anyway I was going the rent to buy thing from Ted Brown Music to try it out , I was also considering taking lessons there too is that a good Idea?
