Regal Cinemas Tacoma
We went to the Regal Cinema in Lakewood/Tacoma on 84th this evening. We went to see “Let Me In.” There were some hoodlums sitting behind us and they were loud mouthed and unruly. I advised the manager as soon as I realized that they were not going to stop cursing and talking after the previews ended. She came in and told them to stop being loud. As soon as she left they fell silent, it was great but then they started in again about half way through the show. If you want to ENJOY a movie I would not recommend going to the Regal Lakewood 15. Although there is a cop outside at all times, they still allow losers into the show. We sat in front of an entire row of them. Good thing this wasn’t a movie I had brought my kids to because had I, I would have gotten a lot nastier about their behavior. It was SUPER annoying as it was.

It is exactly that kind of behavior that makes me avoid movie theaters altogether. There are simply too many disrespectful people who don’t care if they’re disturbing people. Sometimes it’s people talking nonstop, other times it’s cell phones ringing or other times it is people constantly kicking on your seat. Now I watch most of my movies at home and have a much more enjoyable experience. It’s just a shame that there are so many people who just refuse to be considerate.

This is why I am glad I live in the uppity town of Puyallup now. I can drive and see a Jiffylube every 4 blocks, 8 lane roads, and no hoodlums. I haven’t seen any hoodlums in the past month since I moved here. I have become a snob..

John there is nothing wrong with being that kind of snob. Who wants some hoodlums to disturb their fun? Maybe I need to move somewhere like Puyallup.
