Lincoln-Kennedy-Obama Coincidences
Though I wouldn’t usually compare Barack Obama to any great President, in these instances, I have to say there are eerie similarities.
Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846, Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946, when Barack Obama was elected President, he was 46.
Lincoln & Kennedy were directly concerned with Civil Rights. Barack Obama is black and has an agenda regarding entitlements of blacks.
Lincoln was shot in the Ford Theater. Kennedy shot in a Lincoln, made by Ford. Obama gave millions of tax dollars to the car companies like Ford.
Lincoln was shot by an actor. Kennedy had sex with actresses like Marilyn Monroe. Obama acts like he is still popular. He is not.
Historians say Mrs Lincoln was “slow”, or somewhat unbalanced. The Kennedy’s had several mentally disabled family members. Those who voted for, or still support Barack Obama are mentally unstable.
Lincoln’s successor was Andrew Johnson, born in 1808. Kennedy’s successor was Lyndon Johnson, born in 1908. George Bush’s successor was elected in 2008. We miss George Bush.
Lincoln was a lawyer from Illinois. Obama was a lawyer from Illinois. The Kennedy’s often needed a good lawyer, or bought their way out of a bind.
Creepy, but indisputable coincidences.

I wonder why Americans still buy into the idea that politicians should inspire us in boring times? You can’t “inspire” about healthcare – which is why Obama really doesn’t have a great plan – but you can talk about how you’ll bring about the same change as anyone else – namely being “not George Bush. If you do it better, then suddenly you’re the chosen one, the anointed one?

Love the connections between the three presidents. I doubt Obama will ever live up to Lincoln and Kennedy status. I will not lie I was moved when I saw Obama speak but that is the last time I will ever take a politician seriously.
