I was at Albertson’s in University Place yesterday and I saw a sign that said, “Thank you honest person”.  The cashier told me that a lady wrote it and brought it into the store to thank the person that had returned her wallet that she had left in the cart a day before.  Apparently, there was cash in the wallet and of course credit cards.  Nothing had been removed.  The cashier told me that this is the 3rd time this week that someone has lost a wallet and then had it returned unscathed.

In a related story, I left my purse at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Tacoma, WA two days ago.  I noticed as soon as I got back to the office and I called them.  The lady at reception said she would hold it for me.  I went back right away and found it in tact, nothing missing.  We are among the lucky, many folks are not so fortunate.

In other news, there was a couple I noticed in a Denny’s in South Tacoma the other day, they had paid for a police officer’s meal unbeknown to him.  There was also an incident of the Spanaway Lights Exhibit, a patron there paid for the 20 card behind them, kind of a pay it forward type thing.  How nice!  There is a great deal of generousity in the world, let’s keep it going!  Also the girl at Starbucks today was wearing antlers that had blinking lights, I thought it was cute, good to see people having fun with life!
