First snow Winter 2009-10 in Puget Sound

This is the first evening and overnight snow, and according to Gary Burleigh on KOMO radio, this is going to stick and freeze. We can also expect more tomorrow afternoon-evening. 34 degrees in University Place at the time of this posting.

According to someone (who I have forgotten their name), the El Nino is supposed to strengthen for the rest of the winter and on average, we should have above normal temperatures and below to near normal precipitation. If this is wrong you never read this from me.
