Update on “Nice Place To Get Glasses If You Can’t See Straight”
I may have jumped to conclusions when I posted earlier that The Optical Shoppe in Puyallup is a nice place to get glasses. Ever since I got my glasses there a couple weeks ago, I’ve had a horrible time at work reading and especially using my computer with it’s 6-foot diameter screen.
I’ve been getting really irritated eyes; I’ve bought three or four different bottles of eye drops, and a few times I caught myself staring at my computer screen about 6 inches away from it-and of course I sit back in my chair wondering why my eyes hurt.
I called The Optical Shoppe and they said what I’m doing is NOT normal and they want me to go in and see the eye doctor again tomorrow with my new glasses on. I suppose the glasses may not have been made right or something. They promised I wouldn’t pay again for the eye exam and I hope they’re not going to make me pay more for a better pair of glasses!
Getting old really sucks eggs. I suppose even if my eyes are fracked up I at least have a cool hair cut!

Funny thing. I also have questions about the glasses I recently bought. They are cool and the lenses darken in the sunlight, all sorts of cool things. Except I don’t see too well with them.
I did discover that if you open your eyes real wide, like the Three Stooges or cartoon characters used to do when they would see a ghost, you can see pretty good! Squinting also helps.
