!!Update!! Sears Portrait Studio Tacoma, WA
I got a call this morning on my cell phone from Cheryl the regional district manager of CPI Photography, the group that runs the Sears portrait studio in the Tacoma Mall. Cheryl was very polite and concerned regarding the service I had received at the studio earlier this month. We discussed the matter in depth and I truly appreciate Cheryl’s diligence in resolving this issue with me. She took the time to really listen to my concern and we both agreed that if the sales rep could have done this, it would have made a world of difference. Cheryl assured me that this type of neglect is not something that should come to be expected from Sears. I am planning on going back to Sears on December 2nd to pic up some additional pictures that I had ordered. I will update the blog as the situation unfolds.

Corporate or something like it–may respond initially, but getting satisfaction, is something else.
Most likely, when you return to pick up your pictures, they will shove them across the counter to you as they ring it up. You will be lucky to get a smile or a “thank you”.
Good customer service is a thing of the past. This is a prime example. Shop elsewhere and let everybody know about it. Sears will eventually go the way of Montgomery Ward and Woolworth.
