Do not go to Sears for portraits in Tacoma, WA.  They are awful.  The people that work there are unprofessional and disorganized.  I ordered some pictures back on the 6th of November.  During the session the photographer had co-workers come in and watch the session between my sister and myself.  It was weird and kind of uncomfortable.  We weren’t doing anything odd but it seemed like everyone was staring at us and stopping as they walked by.  Aside from this, we were told to come and pick up our pictures on the 16th.  I showed up and the pictures not only were not there but Samantha seemed to have no idea when they would be in.  She was the same person that took our pictures and advised us to come in to pick them up on that day.  She acted like she didn’t know me at first, and like she didn’t know why “they” would tell me to come in on this day.  She pretended to email the lab to find out when they would be returning the photos from processing.  She told me that I would be called as soon as they came in.  After about a week, and hearing nothing, I called Sears, I spoke to Samantha and she said she did not see my pictures and that they would call me when the pics came in.  I explained to her that they should have already been in and then she “remembered” me.  She “double-checked” and said, “Oh, they’re right here!”  I came down two days later (today) and asked her why I was not called, she said they did call but did not get a hold of me, I asked her what number she had, turns out, it was totally wrong.  I have some other pictures coming in on December 2nd, this was due to an upsell that Samantha got me on the day that I took the pictures to begin with.  I will never ever get Sears portraits again.  When my daughters were little I got professional phots done at both Sears and Penny’s, I do not recall ever having such an issue in the past with Sears.  I will add however, Sears actually rents the space in their building to a 3rd party that does the photography under their name.  The company that rents the space in Tacoma is CPI.  If you can help it, walk down to Penny’s, whatever you do, do not get your pictures done a Sears in Tacoma, WA they suck!
