Oscar Mayer Responds to My Beef With Albertsons
Amanda from Oscar Mayer corporate complaints responded to the blog posted here yesterday. If you are just catching up, Albertsons Grocery ran a 2 for $2 special on Oscar Mayer bologna and hotdogs. But, they did not honor that deal when I took the BEEF bologna and hotdogs to the checkout counter.
Amanda stated that she agrees with my position that beef is, indeed, “meat”. She also tells me that the promotion run by Albertsons was NOT an Oscar Mayer promotion, but Albertsons alone. That is contrary to what the personnel at Albertsons told me. They said they had to abide by the rules of this Oscar Mayer promotion. Now, who is lying?
Amanda seems to be on the up and up. She will be contacting the Bridgeport Way [University Place] Albertsons and Oscar Mayer management in order to clear this matter up. She agreed that Albertsons should have honored the sale of the beef bologna and hotdogs. Amanda of Oscar Mayer, says beef is meat and that Oscar Mayer’s “meat” bologna and hotdogs would include those labeled, BEEF.
We will see how this shakes out. As it stands now, I am boycotting Albertsons. They lied to me. Would you continue to patronize a store that treats its customers with such contempt? I don’t believe you would.

I don’t think you should ever watch the Albertson’s News Network.

Thanks Jenn!
Psychologist Brisbane sounds a lot like me. Wait, those ARE my exact words! Is he a robot–or a parrot?
As for you Schnekes, I only watch the Albertsons News Network for the babes that read the weekly specials. Foxy!

This whole thing makes me hungry for a fried baloney sandwich with spicy mustard. Why are there no fried baloney sandwich shops?

Obviously, you are a man with refined taste. May I suggest the Cheese & Pickle on Rye at the Parker, Arizona Beacon Truck Stop. Ask for the fries, not the slaw.
