Best Buy’s “Geek Squad” Looks More Like A Goon Squad
Thanks to news hound Johnathan Lyman’s nooze for nose, or whatever, it seems that Best Buy’s “Geek Squad” are really a bunch of geeks. Included here is investigative video from a Portland Oregon tv station uncovering the geek squad charging people for computer repairs that weren’t even necessary. Like for example, a power cord that the station staff unplugged to see if the geeks would catch it. Johnathan insists that if you have computer repairs to be made, take your computer to Staples because he works there in the tech support department…. And because the video speaks for itself. There’s a couple video links here; try either one.

I love the investigative reports the TV stations come up with. It is great when some scoundrels are caught red-handed.
That will certainly cause a great loss of business for the high-priced GEEK SQUAD. I never trusted those guys anyway. The bigger they are, the more crooked their methods.
