I was able to catch American Idol a while bac,, I think it was the season premier.  Anyway, there’s a new judge this year and I can’t stand her.  She always has a miserable look on her face.  Simon is still my favorite by far.  He is so crass and just tells it like it is.  So there were the usual contestants, normal people with normal voices, some with great voices and then, well, some that were just down right terrible.

I had to stop and ask myself if this was for real.  There was a guy on there that sounded worse than fingernails on a chalkboard.  I can’t believe that some people’s family and friends would actually encourage them to go on national tv and embarass themselves so horribly.  Don’t these family members and friends know when someone sounds terrible? 

I think everyone should shoot for their dreams and attempt to acheive their goals but you gotta know when you got IT and when you just well, DON’T!
