Performing “Womanizer” on Japan’s Best Music Artist show, Britney Spears told the crowd – mainly made up of non-Christian Buddhists and Shintoists – to “have a happy Christmas”. The semi-naked performer was simply spreading the spirit of the season. This is similar to what I do each year, sending my Christmas card which tells the Nativity Story, to friends of the Jewish, Atheist, Agnostic, Mormon, Jehovah’s Witness, and other “made-up” religions, like Kwanza and Rub-A-Dub, for all the Arabs.

Britney is just carrying on the belief that, as we all know, there is but one God. What better way to get the message out than grabbing their attention with a glitzy Broadway/MTV Video-style stage performance, while being practically topless. Maybe she should start a religious crusade, take it around the world, preaching the true meaning of our faith. She could spread the gospel far and wide, Christ was born on Christmas Day, probably Christmas eve, because a star shone in the sky, leading three wise men to the stable on that cold, crisp December night.

This crusade would really jump-start her career comeback and pack the stadiums and coliseums across the world with the multitudes that hunger to hear the message AND the music.
