Every year in Nejapa, El Salvador, they have what is known as the fireball festival.
This is where you basically throw fireballs at another person. It dates back to 1922 when a volcanic eruption left the town of Nejapa being abandoned. The weapon of choice is gasoline soaked rags. The fireballs representing hot lava spewing from the volcano and was actually Christian Saint Jeronimo combating the devil with balls of fire. I think this should be a new american sport.  Enjoy. =)
