Why is it that some people feel like they need to be heard by all around them?  I was at El Toro on Pearl St. in Tacoma today and there were these two ladies sitting in the booth next to myself and a friend of mine.  They were talking about a present one of them had for their mother.  I know this not because I was eavesdropping,  but because they were speaking so loudly it was almost as if they were at my table!  I can understand being excited about an event and getting a little boisterous from time to time but to nearly yell through an entire meal is just down right ridiculous.  The distraction of their conversation was so much so that I could barely concentrate on what my friend and I were trying to talk about, it was almost as if I was being interrupted.

People are so rude in so many instances, selfish.  I mean where did common courtesy go?  Seems like it’s truly a thing of the past in most life instances these days.  That’s too bad.  We finally finished our meal and left the restaurant, we finished our conversation in the car.  It’s too bad good manners are a thing of the past.
